Olivier Elzer

Pink Pearl by Olivier E. is helmed by none other than Chef Olivier Elzer, a distinguished French chef known for his exceptional contributions to the world of fine dining. Born in Koblenz, Germany, and raised in Alsace, France, Chef Elzer's passion for French gastronomy began early. After graduating from CFA Nérée à Cannes, he honed his skills under the mentorship of culinary legends Joël Robuchon and Pierre Gagnaire.

 

Over his storied career, Chef Elzer has earned an astounding 27 Michelin stars across restaurants throughout France and Asia, a testament to his commitment to excellence and spirit of innovation. In 2022, the French government named him a Knight in the Order of Agricultural Merit, recognizing his commitment to using fresh, local produce.

Chef Elzer's cooking philosophy blends the soul of traditional French cuisine with modern, lighter techniques and seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. This philosophy is on glorious display at Pink Pearl by Olivier E., where Chef Elzer looks to marry the light and healthy flavors of the Mediterranean and his passion for traditional yet creative French gastronomy with the freshest of seasonal ingredients and his intimate knowledge of Asian gourmet tastes, having owned and collaborated with restaurants in Hong Kong, Taipei and China.
